Without a title I wouldn't touch it. Something is up or the storage place would have auctioned it off years ago.

I agree.. You might wana walk away, then look into [Just What Is Up With This Abandoned Truck]... in relation to getting a new Title..... in YOUR name. The Origonal Owners Status, The Storage Lots say, any Leans, The City, County & State requirements.:watchout

One of those "Buyer Beware" deals ??

Things of any Value.. Very Rarely just come up For Grabs ?

You might need to get the VIN and get a history on it. Maybe the local DMV office (county tax office in Texas) can run the number and get the info. You also could get someone at a local police station to run the number and check if it's on the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) list. Could be a stolen vehicle that no one has located. Lots of possibilities on this one.

The storage facility is the one who should have applied for an abandoned title after about the first 6 months to a year after it was there IMHO.
