I live for this crap....the few times I get away each year to be with my buds is the glue that keeps my life together.

Lucky, I'd love to build a crawler and just totally trash it, unfortunately my truck is too new, expensive, and nice (if i must say so myself) to take offroade too much...

I have done the Rubicon 25 times or more since 1972. I used a Jeep that I had at the time. Now I keep the truck on "improved" trails and ranches. No rock crawling for my F-350.

our Jeep still gets used as an everyday driver, so we cant get that crazy with it, that's why we have bikes and quads....

It's a hobby of mine however for the time I'm rigless, I'll have to ride along w/ one of my brothers till the $$ for the rig becomes available (house is more important)

I have a 42' GPW and a 75' F250 that I take out and play around in the dirt a little but nothing serious. Back when I was in my younger years if my truck wasn't covered with mud it just didn't look right. I might add that my 96' has never been off-road nor will it ever be. It gets run in 4wd all winter but there is pavement under that snow and ice somewhere.
