47k and still going on all of them. :)

Of course Ford gave me a free set of new tires at 30k in exchange for my Firestone Steelex's. So I figure I'll go close to 80k on my first set of tires. :)

Have a good one,
Dave

1.) Set of tires: Firestone Steeltex's were swapped at at varying distances...sidewalls peeled on each tire. BFG Rugged Trails were installed at 119k thanks to the Steeltex recall. 22k on them so far.

2.) CPS: Approx 90,000 miles

3.) tranny: 87,000 miles.

4.) Replaced OEM brake pads/rotors at 50,000

5.) 141,000 and still going!

Crumm I do not think the speed will change the error on the odometer. The error factor on the speedometer is a percentage, not a specific amount. That is why as speed goes up the error is greater. Thus for example 2 mph error @ 20mph, and 6 mph error @ 60mph is a 10% error factor. But the tire diameter differences remain constant more or less so the odometer does not care how fast the car/truck is going it is off by the same amount, ie the % of error remains the same regardless of speed.
Correct me if I am wrong. I think I got this right, but I didn't get much sleep so I might have left something out.
To keep this on topic

Bought the truck used with about 42k on it. It had just had a new set of tires installed. Right now I"m pushing 71k and I"m getting close to needing new tires.

Clutch is original as far as I can tell, as is the CPS, brake pads, & rotors.

Bought truck in August 2002 with 18,500 miles.
Its now almost May 2005 and I have 41,000 miles.

Change the oil every 3k-4k miles (delo 400 and FoMoCo filter)
Replaced batteries (5 years old)
Replacing tires soon (firebombs, with no tread due to too many burnouts)
Spare CPS in glovebox.

I think I had to change out a turnsignal bulb once, but other than that, I havnt *HAD* to do anything. Not a single "repair".

However, I've ADDED a ton of stuff, so there is no "money saved" on this truck.
