how do i turn off my headlights during darkness hours?

Can someone please tell me how to turn my automatic lights off during night time? Someone told me to push the ebrake in slightly. That works, but so does the brake alarm every 30 seconds. Please help. I have a 2003 f350 lariat

daytime running lamps would have to be a canadian truck

most auto lamps are canceled by turning the knob all the way to the left..

all the way to the right and back to auto resets them

Daytime or Auto lamp?

Don'r know how old this thread is but if your trying to turn off the daytime running lamps and not the autolamps there is a resistor module infront of the drivers side battery, just unplug it and your all set.... Autolamps is like everyone said just turn the switch to off or 12 o'clock position..
