How do I put a picture in a post?

So I finally bought a digital camera today (Nikon Coolpix 5900). The new baby kind of brought on the purchase. How do I put a pic in a post? I have a webshots account. Is it easier to use that location or do copy and paste from my computer?

You can click on "manage attachments" and upload the file from your computer, to this website.

or, if the picture is already on the web somewhere, you can usually "link" to it by using the "

" commands. Drop the "" and "". I need them so that teh computer doesnt try to make my words actually turn into a link

Webshots is "ok", but I dont really like it.

You might also try downloading "Picasa" from Google. It lets you email the pics using a gmail account. (and if you need a gmail account, I have like 50 invites).

Where do I click on "Manage Attachments" at? I am only using webshots because it is what I know of. Is there any other easy way? We want something that the family can get to easily.

At the bottom of this page is the "quick reply" box, just below that is a "Go Advanced" button. Click that guy to go to the full reply page. Here you have more options while replying. The manage attachments option which allows you to upload directly from your hard drive to our server is there. If you are using one of the hosting sites then you can embed your image into the message rather than upload to our server.

There are several free photo hosting sites on the web. I use webshots, photobucket and imagestation. But there are others out there as well.
