how do i get the air out?

just changed both fuel filters. filled one on motor as best as i could when replacing it. frame filter didn't get any fuel. what is best way to bleed air out? tank was removed and reinstalled so even lines will have air. thanks guys, rich

cycle the key, on, and WAIT til you hear the pump stop running...
3-4 cycles of this will pressurize the lines & fill the filters/bowl.

no need to fill the bowl/engine mounted filter manually.

if the tanks been down you could cycle the key 6 or 8 times and
be fine.

I had this happen to me as well when I replaced my tank. There was a lot of air in there.

Tighten everything up except for the cap for the filter on the engine. Keep it cracked so that air can escape. have someone cycle the key on and off until you get the hint of fuel coming out of the crack. Tighten it up and away you go!!!! :thumbs
