How cold is too cold?

Make sure you've got power to that block heater. I live in Alaska and my trucks starts easy at -40 with the heater plugged in, but it's not gonna start at that temperature without the heater. I know, I've been this route a dozen times in the last 2 years.

Ashmass, the housing in your avatar looks like the housing at Fort Greely.

I live in King Salmon Alaska on the Naknek River. That is, by the way, government housing. I work for the Federal Aviation Administration. Housing is provided for the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife, National Park Service, National Weather Service and FAA employees.
