Mike-
We got a sundance. no issues. 450 gallons, cd/stereo w/ 2 pop up speakers, 5-6 person, w/ lazy boy style seat & a 18 jet seat. did the wiring my self (i believe black, red, white??, heavy gauge) $1.29/ft. at Home Depot + $80 50 amp breaker. We were told elec. bill was $1 per day. Chemicals once per week, drain at 4 mo. intervals (not during winter months) change filter(s) when filter minder tells you too. We got the bromine kit not the chlorine kit. Any combination of the chemicals will not harm the grass either, i hook up a drain pump and hook the discharge to my sprinkler and water the lawn on drain days. They do have an allure about them, some say it is over quickly and don't use it much later. Humm, sounds like marriage...
I would recommend at least 6" of compacted base under pavers or your standard 4" base w/ 4" fiber re-inforced cement... Yes, by all means just like a truck, test ride them. Happy shopping!
