Cynthia McKinney says it is everyone fault but hers that she lost the race. Some people just don't get it that if you go around hitting cops and not doing your job, you don't win.

Too bad that Joe Lieberman lost the Democratic primary. He votes with his party 90% of the time, and just because he supports the war, his party dumps him. I hope his independent candidacy sweeps Lamont back into obscurity. Even though I'm a Republican, Lieberman is one of a dying breed: a Democrat who will cross party lines to do what is moral and right.

I felt that in 2000 if Joe and John McCain had run together as Independants that neither of the other two parties would have beaten them. Not to say that I was for that combination but it would have been interesting.

That would have been a pretty good combination. However, if they had run as a third party, Gore would probably have won.

From what I hear from the "spinmasters", there are enough independents in CT to help Lieberman win in November.
