Hello everyone,
I have a 01 cc psd with a 7.3 engine automatic 4x4. I have a 4 inch lift 35's with a 60 hp diablo chip. Recently while coyote hunting in serious mud I had a little trouble getting my truck to go into 4wd. I put in the manual hubs and everything engaged and away I went. Later back on solid ground I went to take out the manual hubs and I could not get the truck out of 4wd. After some thought and light trouble shooting I pressed and held the tow haul button and the 4wd disengaged. It was shifting into reverse pretty easily but had to hit the gas to move then it would jump a little. I then hit the highway and gave the truck some serious power and it was running about 60 mph at about 2800 rpm and acted like it would not shift into overdrive. I have recently had it out on the highway and most times it will accerlate and then shift but yesterday it went back to running high rpm. Any advice would be appreciated. I want to think it is a dirty connector or something to that effect but don't honestly know.
