Is the high idle mod done the same way for a manual transmission as it is for an automatic?

my guess is yes, the semi's where i work that have wet kits is done manually, but obviously this is electronic, tony wildman asked if mine was automatic for the shift points and what shape the trans was in. to decide how much power he could put to, it without tearing it up

02 stroker I take it you are looking at doing the high idle mod by tapping into the fuel pedal assembly? if so then yes it is the same

I seen a post where it said to connect the wire that Ford uses to idle up the engine in PTO applications. Here is the link I found.

Sounds easy enough and I'm pretty sure the wires are there. I remember seeing some last time I was under the dash. I know there are some under the hood.
