ok i have a 2005 6.0 f350 with a 6spd. ive seen a few tutorials for doing this mod to a automatic just wondering if anyone can help me out. i can find the wire on the gas pedal side fine, but not sure on the parking brake side, anyone know what color would work for a 05 6spd truck

You only have to provide 12 volts to the battery protect wire OR the PTO wire from either an upfitter switch or an off the shelf switch. There are no connections to be made from the accelerator to the parking brake. That is all in software.

With 12 volts supplied to the circuit and the parking brake engaged, the high idle mod will either provide torque converter lock and immediate 1200 rpm idle speed through use of the PTO wire, or a ramped acceleration to 1200 rpm idle speed if you use the battery protect circuit.

Check the WIKI for the upfitter switch writeup, the high idle mod is detailed at the end of the article.
