Question Hi again! got a EGR ?

Hey where is this thing located? is it the thing on top of the turbo? My brother inlaws truck had to go in the shop the other day with a check engine light, turns out the egr was dirty... so 100 bucks later... yeh so i need to know exactly where this thing is so we can kill it!

Small round object at about 7 o'clock in relation to the oil filter cap. You'll see a plug going into it. Depends on the year whether you'll get a CEL. 04 or earlier you should be o.k. Or if he's running a tuner just shut it off. Unplug with key off. Pretty simple.

yeh its an 06. i heard it may throw a check engine light. he doesnt have a tuner. just straight pipe
