x2, Bush. The first time mine gave up the ghost I tipped the tech and brought the guys in the shop some good beer, and the second time it had issues I got the truck back with all kinds of other re-call work and flashes done to it in record time. It had even been washed. A little PR goes a long way. Good to hear, desert50eagle, glad you got it sorted out.
X3. When I had major work done(new heads, studs, remanufactured turbo, oil cooler, egr cooler) I was paranoid and wanted a little extra ensurance that it was going to all go O.K. and gave the tech a $75.gift certificate to the local steak house for him and his family, just hoping that he'd do the A.R.P.stud torque sequence correctly and be extra careful with my rig. I wasn't looking for anything more, but when I checked the oil next after this work was done,I found new oil and a new dip stick,no charge. The orig.stick end was black. The newer ones as you probably all know is gray. How much easier it is now to read the level! :sweet But more importantly my truck ran and is still running better than ever. Oh, and even though my experience and opinion of service advisors is less than good, I gave him a certificate as well, didn't want him feeling left out. :D
