I replaced my stock plug with the brass aftermarket shortly after buying the truck. The last 2 times I drained and/or changed fuel filters I it was impossible to remove with my fingers even though I installed it with them. It was actually hard to remove with pliers too. The o-ring seemed to be bound up in the threads and some corrosion of the aluminum seemed to be present.

Anyone else experience this? What did you do about it? Does anyone use a anti-corrosive or lubricant on the plug for those of us in northern / salty climates?

A little grease is all I use, never been stuck. Just around the threads.

stick a 6mm allen wrench in the
hole and turn it (just like you
had to do w/ the old flat plug).
