Hey, y'all! I have been logging on to this forum for over a year now, but really haven't done much posting. I really enjoy this forum. My current rig is a 2007 Ford F250 Crew Cab Lariat 4X4 with the 6.0. It has an auto. trans. and a short bed. I love it! This is my first Ford, but my third diesel. My first two trucks were Dodge Ram 2500's with the Cummins. First was a '96 with the 12-valve Cummins 5.9L, the second was a '99 with the 24-valve 5.9L. Both had 5-speed manual transmissions in 'em. Had 196,000 miles on the last one.
Currently, I am a career Firefighter in Fairfax County, VA. Before becoming a Firefighter, I was an over-the-road truck driver. I drove mainly Freightliners with Detroit Diesel Series 60's with 10-speed RoadRanger transmissions. Also drove a Peterbilt 379 with a 425 HP Caterpillar 3406E and 18-speed RoadRanger. Nice truck!

Dent in the hood


Some of the neighborhood punks thought it would be funny to throw a brick at my truck this evening. Landed right on the hood. Less than two hours after I finished washing and waxing it, no less. Urrgg!
