Help!! weird smell when THe heat is on!

Well I used the ole heater today and get a odd smell I just cant place Im guessing its either a fient diesel or antifreeze smell maybe? Heater works firne however.

Thoughts?

Any advice appreciated as usual

your heater core could be bad if you smell antifreeze.

Wouldnt it be leaking antifreeze on the floor board?

Sometimes if it were leaking bad there will be some antifreeze on the floorboard or even blowing on the windshield.

Assuming maybe you haven't used any of the heater/AC controls in a while, when you used your heater maybe some air that had a lot of foreign material/dust/whatever thats been sitting in there for a while blew out, making it smell a little weird?

Air fresheners help a lot.
