I have an 08 F-250 FX-4. I just had it lifted and put 18" rims and 37's. I still have the stock wheels and tires which where the 20" rims. They guy that did the lift had no clue about the tpms. So of course i get the darn light and warning every time i start and am reminded like every hour or so when driving. Any easy fix or deactivation.... I have done research and seems sooooo stupid and complicated!!!!

Go to Ford and buy 4 18" bands, have tires broke down off rims and install the bands. Re-inflate with nitrogen to the right pressure and be done with it. It won't be cheap. But its about your only option.

If the rims already have the sensors mounted in them then the system just needs to be calibrated. The Steps are in the owners manual. I have had to do this on my work truck several times, mine roads are hard on tires. The biggest issue is making sure that the rims have the sensors mounted in them. It is not hard to Calibrate the system as long as the Rims have the sensors.
