There is air in the lines. Easiest way is to crank for 30 seconds at a time. According to the Ford Chilton Manual, it states to turn the key without stating for 30 seconds, do it 6 X each time for 30 seconds and the air should work it's way out through the injectors. I follow this every time I do my filters and most of the time it works. Make sure your batteries are in good condition.

I did the next best thing. I walked away from for a few hours and played with my grandson. Took the jeep out on a beat run. Said a prayer. Then it started after 2 tries. He take care of me inspite of my self.....

That's worked for me moreso over the years, than racking my brain with theory. Some things are just so simple, we tend to overthink little things into catastrophies.

I have not found it on line so far.

I found it Under Rotunda. There is some great tools on there site, and it's all ford stuf.

I had no idea there was a special tool to get the air out of the system. If I buy the kit, I will keep you informed whether it works or not. thanks a lot for the information.

Dog man, I really don't want to sound stupid by any means but I have been online for over 1 hour already, at the rotunda website etc..... Looking for this kit for purging air from the fuel lines. I can't find anything, any extra help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Go to the Rotunda site.. go to Essential tools (option #5).. type in the part #.. when it comes up.. hit 310-184. It'll show a Pic of it @ $56.

Looks to me like something that could be made at home.. but I'll be danged if I can see Where & How it works
