I was wanting to upgrade my brakes on my F-350 4X4 single axle and was wanting to get a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on this......or does anyone already have them and how well do they work...all information would be helpful.
Thanks.

i wouldn't go with crossed drilled and slotted. crossed drill are known to warp under extreme use(less metal to help stop, so not as strong)

i upgraded to power slots slotted rotors and hawk superduty performance brakes. they will stop you on a dime.:thumbs :thumbs

i think all of us have single axels... just some of us have 2 rear wheels.... us dually guys are people too ya know:rant

much agreed powerslot with either hawk or some EBC breaks (now make Heavy duty breaks just for diesel and larger light duty trucks with less break dust :sweet) if ya really wanna go all out im sure someone make some caliper upgrades.

Stay away from cross drilled. Power slots and Hawks are the overwhelming choice. I'm happy with my stock rotors and Hawk pads.

there is a company called stainless steel brakes that makes caliper upgrades, rotors and pads too, i think. they just became available around the first of the year for the ford superduty.

here is their website with the set-up for a ford f350 4x4 for example
stainless steel brakes

they are very expensive!!! there are other ways to go that are cheaper, but will give great performance.

Thanks to all for the replys I will be ordering the power slot rotors today, along with the brakes. But I think I will wait on the calipers, alittle pricey today. Maybe in about 6 months. Again :thanks

Got a decent deal on some Rotors and brakes and wanted to let others know the site, http://www.autoanything.com/ is pretty cool and offers a 1 year price guarantee on their stuff. If anyone is interested......I know I am.......:thumbs don't know why the web-site hasn't came up yet. But it is autoanything.com......

Yes that is the site. They are great on prices, plus offer the one year guarantee on prices. I'll look there for more things first.
