I got into my Excursion this morning and it would not start. I pulled the codes and they were P0603, p1000, and p2614. I don't know what these codes mean, can someone help? Has this happened to anyone else?

On edit: I would like to add that my truck will crank but will not start. All my guages seem to work as does my radio.

P0603 Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

This is from your chip and normal nothing to worry about, its how the dealership knows you had a chip

P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete

don't know what this means?

I don't see your other code on the list?

Thanks whatabudro, the p0603 is normal? I have pulled the codes a couple times before but never saw that one. I have remote start in my Ex, do you think that could be what it is? I just looked at an OBD-II site and the p2614 came up as a crank shaft sensor code. I do not run it very hard "all the time" but I had a Predator before and it never threw this code. Thanks again.

P2614 has to do with the CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR output circuit. Incorrect CMP signal. You have a bad Cam position sensor.

P0603 KAM is from removing your stock programming to the chip/tuner. When you take it in for service and remove the programming back to stock you need to clear codes after you return it to stock because that one will be there and they will know

Thanks DaveBen and whatabudro, I have cleared the codes with the programmer and taken out all the gear, but do you think that the CPS is what is making the Ex not start? I have seen this on a friends 05' Dodge when he was testing a Beta box for Bully Dog, but never on this one. Like I said, I had a Predator before the Tri-Dog and all the Predator did was blow the head gaskets? I know I am new here, so please don't think I am down talking the 6.0 L, it still smokes them bow tie boys real good. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the CPS can cause a no start but I thought that the CPS issues were resolved with the 6L's?

Yes 95_stroker I beleive it was solved on the 6.0 engines. I have not heard of a no start because of a Cam Position sensor. That is what the code shows on the DVD.
