Hello, glad to find this forum, maybe one of you can help me....I am having intermittent light problems with my 05 F250 6.0 King Ranch, it has 336,000+ and still counting miles, my problem started with intermittent trailer signals, like "trailer disconnected" or flashing trailer sign, it has migrated to intermittent signal light problems, or rear sencor signal when applying the brake with trailer and without trailer, rear turn signal very dim, blinking fast when either door opened. These problems are not constant, at the moment there is no problem, but that doesn't mean at least one won't show later today. Where do I start checking and for what? Thanks, any comments will be appreciated, Earl

do the problems only occur when the trailer is attached, or doesn't it matter. My old 7.3 had a similar issue, but only when the boat trailer was attached. What I found after hours of looking at the truck for issues was a wire was pinched between the trailer frame and the wheel guards, I kept blowing fuses in the truck so I assumed the problem was in the truck not trailer. After finding the issue all problems went away. Hope maybe this helps.

Thanks, either with any one of my three trailers, or with out, I noticed today with tailgate down and in park, applying brake petal the rear sensor beeper goes off and will several times as brake applied. Now not doing that. Earl

Welcome aboard!!!! Hope you can get the lighting problems fixed. Those are always aggravating.

Thanks Wayne, it's about to drive me nuts. I went out yesterday and had no taillights, but did have turn signal lights, after checking the turn signals they started working again. I've had more trouble with this light problem than anything else. Replaced control modual at 99,000 miles, injectors and glo plugs and EGR delete installed at 200,00 miles, had oil pump sensor replaced at 330,000, only electrical work is a muti-switch on steering column and trailer socket replaced at 334,000, everything else is original and working good. I've heard Ford has several light control moduals, but don't know where to look for them. I may have to take it to "rcauto specialist" in Tulsa, OK they are great Ford specialist, I thought it might be simple to fix, but I guessed wrong.

My hobby is buying and selling WWII jeeps and I travel the US in hunting them, so I never tow much over 10,000 pounds and I'm not hard on my vehicles, I don't jerk loads around and was planning on seeing just how many miles I can get on this Ford without any major repairs.
