New member from Alaska
Hello folks. The name here is Norm and I'm in Juneau, Alaska.
I've got a 1999 F250 7.3L Diesel 4X4 extended cab, long bed with 100,000 miles. I flew over to Whitehorse in Canada back in 2000 and bought her used.
I've been driving it all over since then and other then the standard disposables, I've only had to replace the front left wheel bearing. This year I put new breaks all around, flushed transmission, changed all the fluids, and put a new set of Michelin tires on her.
In July I'm hooking up a 10,000 lb loaded cargo hauler with all of our junk in it and heading down the Alcan toward Arizona. I can't wait to get on some open road and clean the carbon out of this thing.
Today I did the 6637 Air Intake Mod. Went well, but haven't really noticed any difference. I've also started running Diesel Kleen - today. Can't wait to see if she get's better mileage. I get around 15 in town and haven't been on the highway for so long that I can't remember what it's like out there.
Anyway, I was real happy to come across the forum and looking forward to maybe learning something.
