Hey everyone, I'm new here since I just bought an 06 F350 CC. From day 1 the cranking power of the truck seemed a little whimpy to me but I kind of just ignored it. I couldn't ignore it on Saturday morning though when I had horses loaded in the trailer and the truck wouldn't start. I got it jumped and then drove it for 4 hours hoping the battery would charge but it still wouldn't start after I turned it off. At this point I was pretty sure I would be springing for an alternator and a couple of batteries. Then I poked around the forums here and found out that these things have issues with corrosion on the battery terminals. A wire brush, a dremel, and 15 minutes fixed it right up. The truck fires no problem now. Thanks!!!
