Buying an 02 F250 7.3 crewcab 4wd, been waiting for a long time, looking forward to enjoying having this one a long time....any recomendations for a tuner? I'm thinking of getting a superchips, looking for towing power, and fuel mileage

Welcome fellow 7.3'r! Best place to be for yer 7.3. I'd look into a DP chip. Heard great things about them and there are a ton of them out there. If you do a chip I'd go with full exhaust and gauges too. DEFINATELY Gauges! Gotta monitor the vitals!

I have the 7.3 and love it. If you are going to tune it, be sure to verify that you have a good flowing exhaust as well as ample air flow in. I have an AFE intake and a 4" turbo back exhaust, you need a good breathing engine before you throw on a tuner. I have the superchips tuner, and tow a 5th wheel and all is well.
There are Lots of options on exhaust and intake as well as tuners, this group helped me long ago, do your research and enjoy your truck.
