Thanks guys.
Ideally, I am looking for an F-250 Crew diesel. (Although I'd take a 1-ton if the deal is right.)
A 6.7L isn't going to happen due to cost. And I don't have anything against the 6.4L, but the 08-10 front end isn't really my favorite.
So basically an 07 or older crew diesel in decent enough shape and with okay mileage. I wouldn't rule out a 7.3L, but most of the trucks I have been looking at are 6.0L's. Good thing my BIL is a Ford mechanic.
Actually, it seems like if they haven't had issues by now, they should be "okay." I don't know, what are your thoughts? I know if you kick up the power the ARP studs are a good idea, but for right now, stock level power is fine for me.
The market is pretty tight now, and I might just wait a little bit too, as I don't "need" the truck right away.
