The route was pretty good I didn't have that many bridges going down state highways; did come across one going under the interstate at my stop that was too low, I was right at 14' 6" had to go down the interstate a ways and come back on the other side, Texas has some screwy exit's. Also came within an inch of catching a low fiber line in the small town I was going to. Also ended up snapping 2 chains at different times right at the ratchet on the way down, due to the rough roads/crap chain.

Our heaviest haul with a car carrier was around 88,000 lbs. I know it's not much compared to true heavy haulers, but that's a lot for a portable parkin lot.

Best loads I had was M1A1, M1A2 tanks and the M104 Wolverine. It's heavy at about 70 tons but EZ money.

M104 Wolverine about 60 tons

When Caltrans does an pavement overlay, they Very, Very seldome do it under an overpass. Only problem is.. If yer Over-hieght & Over-length.. sometimes the Drive wheels, or the first wheel set, will climb the new overlay on the other side.. before the load clears.

Don't ask me how I know that. ;):sly:innocent
