Have added heated tow mirrors to my 2000 Super Duty. Would like to know if anyone else has done this. Need to know how to switch the mirrors on and off safely. I need to be able to turn on the heat and there needs to be some sort of temperature switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WELCOME TO SUPERDUTYDIESEL!!

Though I have not done this yet, I have this switch, which I have been told works well. Built in timer, matches the other switches in the truck, and has the green led.

This is the list of what each post is to be.

Large pin #1 Hot output to mirrors when switch is on (+ out)

Large pin #2 Hot at all times (12+ in)

small pin #3 Switched hot with key in run
(again putting #2 and #3 together switched hot w/locks power)

small pin #4 ground (-)

small pin #5 illumination

Hope this helps ya out.
