The factory headlights are getting pretty cloudy and to be honest I prefer the look of the newer styles and some of the aftermarket stuff, what would you guys recommend for an upgrade on an 01 SD. I've seen some where you have to hack into the header behind the headlights, that's not an option for me thanks.

I think you can do newer style or the stock Harley Davidson lights.

The "03 lights from an F series super duty truck or excursion will go right in. They have the clear lens. I put them in my '00 F350. The original ones were so cloudy I had to strike a match to see if they were on. You can get aftermarket lights fairly reasonably priced but of course they're never as good in quality as the factory lights.

I know I've got an 07, so were talking apples and oranges, but I went to a local shop and had my bulbs changed out to the bright white LED's and the results were unreal. It was $400.00 for the headlights and fog lights, but the results are un-real! incredibly good!
