I have a 2004 F250 6.0 with the headlights and turn signals separate, and I was wondering if the 05-07 one piece headlights can be a direct replacement? Ive gotten some condensation in the headlights and need to replace them, just thought a slight image upgrade would be nice. Thanks a bunch.

PS - To any of you who replied to my thread regarding a turbo rebuild in "911 Diesel Down", thanks for the help, It was greatly appreciated.:sweet

It will not be a direct replacement. You will have to do some trimming to
the header panel.

HERE is a template guide that I made up when I did mine.

You will also need to upgrade the wiring harness on the headlights.

I bought the wiring harness from dfuser.com

9007 to 9008 Relay Harness (+69.99)

Below is a pic of the harness.

IIRC, the bulbs in the 2005 headlights require more voltage or something like that. Sorry, I am not very "word" savoy when it comes to stuff like this.

I had to call Bill at dfuser just to make sure I was ordering the right stuff.

I think Bama means more current and not voltage. Heaver wire carries more current and the voltage stays the same.

I was looking at putting the 2006 headlight assembly in my 2001. The 2001 super duty should be the same headlight assembly as was in your 2004 is it not? So the process should be the same?
