Dodge is part of the Chrysler company which was recently bought out by private equity firm Cerberus. Chrysler management has already said that the company has too many brands and too many dealers. It is trying to cope with a vicious downturn in the US auto market. Keeping a car brand means huge advertising and marketing costs and product development. Dodge vehicles will probably be re-branded as Chrysler and Dodge will go the way of the Dodo.

Dodge has some good points, but overall they suck. They seem have always been very inovative in a way, but that inovation comes at the consumers experiement... i mean experience If wee took the good points of each big 3 and made 1 vehicle... or line up... BAM. perfect car/trucks.

I saw a brand new Dodge cab & chassis rolling down the road a couple days ago, think it was a 4500 or 5500 model, no body on it yet.

Said "Sterling" across the grill. When did Freightliner snag that.
