Guys with LED Tailights????

I really like the LED tail lights that Bama and some of you have installed. I have one question. With the layout of the LEDs, is there room to install a strobe tube like in my stock tail lights. I would love to upgrade, but have to have that strobe in there.

Hey Barrett, do you have a pic of the globe? something to give me an idea if it would fit in the LED taillights like I have.

then I can go and look at mine to see.

Her is a picture of the strobe tube in my front turn signal. Basically you have to drill a 1" hole in the light housing. Thanks for the help.

these appear to be the only 2 places on this type light Barrett.

in the red area, there is not enuff room.

I am going to have to hold my breath and do this little thing. I have teh LED strobes so they might be a little bit bigger. As soon as I do it, I will let you know. I do a lot of road work at night and prefer that my truck get lit up like a christmas tree. Just a personal preference.

the only way I see it being able to work, is if you could pull out ONE of the LED's and place the globe there.

I'll just stick with what I got. Bad enough with drilling holes in your lights, really bad to dismantle a new one. Really like the look of your tail lights, but I need the strobes. I'm sure I can find some other toy to spend my money on. like maybe some more LEDs, or maybe that new Whelen mini led light bar for the roof????!

How about a wigwag flasher for the LEDS? They are pretty bright, and it might have enough of the strobe effect.
Another thought is that the LED;s I have for strobes come in different colors. Couldn't you use the red ones to flash in the clear area?
