Go with the lifetime replacement. If it goes out and throws the belt you can try to get them to cover the belt also.

Yea, I think so too.

I replaced the autozone one 2 times (this is the 3rd one to go out) but the others was under warrenty and didn't completely LOCK up.

So, I will be trying THIS brand LOL

Just finished it today (been wayyyy too busy to even mess with it).

I went ahead and just BOUGHT the remover and installer kit for the Pully at Harbor Freight.

I checked 2 autozones and 1 other O'Reily's before giving up LOL

It was only $20 from Harbor Freight and would be a good kit to have on hand ;)

WOW,

I have never seen a pump FAIL this bad, it even CRACKED the HOUSING!!!

Take a look here.

LOL Yea for sure.

I went ahead and got one from O'Reily's, I hope this will be a better unit than the last 3!!!!

Also, Just FYI, You can BUY the puller/pully at Harbor Freight for $20.

I opted for this after couldn't find any Autozone or O'Reily's that had one to RENT out.

I buy almost all my parts from Ford. They give me a commercial discount and the prices are similar to the larts stores 95% of the time. I have NEVER had a ford replacement part fail. I can't say that about any other brand I have used.

Mike,

Yea,

I have bought one from Ford when I first got the truck and they replaced it at the time.

It failed in just over 1.5 years.

And now many people are saying even the ones from Ford are junk made in Romina.

It just really sucks no one can make one of these parts to last.
