Never thought of that one, what they do send another hyrail out to get you blocked back up?

Not in this case. We walked back to the yard in the freezing rain.About 4 miles. nobody was around in the office to answer the distress call.

They ended up brining a locomotive some chain and blocking to pull the truck onto the track. I missed out on the rerailing. They had fun because the truck was resting against a rock. :D when we derail somthing we did a good job.;tu

Thanks for posting this topic!! I have never seen these videos, I love watching trains, there awsome!;tu However, I have a question. When the three locomotives got stuck, why could they not back out under their own power? And when three more hook up they all seem to struggle to back out. Is it something in the transmissions in the trains or am I missing something else? :dunno I really dont know that much about trains. Please explain. Thanks!!:sweet

All three engines were walled up against the snow cab high combined with no traction(wet & cold tracks) they had to be dug out pretty much. Looked like an all day job getting them out.

Didn't matter that the front two engines were powerful T-2's they just weren't going to back out of it
