Got Snow?

We do!

First two are the back yard and the third is our local ski slope as seen from my kitchen window. 12-18 inches here in the valley and upwards of 75 up on the hill.

Got home about 2 hrs ago, spent 26 at work.

We didn't get that much accumulation, but the slick roads made driving a little tricky. Not impossible, but you definitely had to watch out for all the yahoos who forgot how to drive on snow/ice.

My oh My;

We have lived in Redding for the last 33 years, and if you totaled all the snow that has fallen in Redding in that period, you might get six inches. Zero snow in the last five years. The big snow of 1993 dumped 1.6 inches. It brought traffic to a standstill.
BUT.... in July I am sure you do not get 118 degree days, like Redding has in the past. Needles has hit 125 , and Death Valley has been up to 129.
Sooo,,, your snow is not that bad.

Yeah we "got snow" and since it has been here for six months I am ready to get rid of it. We are suppose to get a little over 32 degree weather this weekend so my fingers are crossed that it might start to melt

We got about 8" the other day. You'd think after having snow on the ground AND snow packed side streets from mid December to mid February people would've remembered how to drive in the stuff . . . .
