well i thought my converter took a !@#$ after i hooked up my programmer. i had a new converter installed yesterday and that didnt really fix the problem.
i feel something "slipping/grabbing" in the tranny when i accelerate, and someone told me the tranny itself has clutches that could be slipping on the gears ??? do i need a tranny rebuild...

part 2 of my problem is that my power steering went out last night. it has acted up several times in the last couple of weeks, and last night it was kaput. i have 35" tires so w/no power steering it is impossible to maneuver this thing, also i know that the power steering is hooked up to my brake booster so i'm afraid i might lose my brakes and dont want to drive ? there is no leaking of p/s fluid, and the reservoir is full. is there a way i can find out whether it is my gear box or my pump, and will i hurt anything by driving it ?

i had a new bullet proof tranny installed. the old one was a mess. the planetaries were shredded and they were all metal to metal. i blame myself and the programmer for that.
as far as the p/s still not sure about it. i'm gonna replace the pump and see what happens i guess.

When a TC goes, the tranny is not usually far behind.
