As some of you know I ordered a set of clear headlights the other day.
Well they finally came in.

Here is the kit that I got:

Should I just use the stock bulbs? What would be brighter other then spending $200-300 on an HID setup?

nice looking.

as for the choice in bulbs...its a matter of how the reflectors were
designed...some HID bulbs place the "light" such that it would not be
properly aimed (as if you were using a conventional bulb).

dont confuse the TEMPATURE (or color) of light w/ brightness....
just because its blue doesnt necessarily mean its brighter.

those are going to look good! what bulbs do you use now? I would go to a silverstar type of the original bulb -- the clear lights plus brighter bulb should give you better performance

You can get a upgraded headlight harness with heavyer wire and relays to make sure you get a true 12v. to the lights. Had them on the 01 but can't remember where I purchased them. Think it was from an advertizer on this site. Silverstars or ultra silverstars are good.
