How much nicer are they with the vision on the small convex mirror. I know that the little mirrors on my 03' are just about useless backing into a parking spot to see the lines. The tow mirrors are out so far that it is sometimes hard to see if there is a vehicle beside me. And are they just a bolt on swap besides the wiring?

You can see MUCH more beside you, can see the tires/ white line no problem, and two lanes beside you, in the convex mirror.

Yes, they just bolt on, and wire up.

Here's a real kicker, my friend that was gonna buy my old mirrors was here, saw my mirror, and he wants me to get a pair of '08s for his truck now, too :roflmao

I find the '02 mirror pretty nice except for seeing the driver-side trailer tires.
The lower bubble mirrors don't quite cut it either. I understand that your newer mirrors give greater vertical field of view, that is good. I can see you love 'em :sweet

But they are so much more...boxier. No offense... I'll probably warm to 'em :thumbs

im w/ RSG...im just not there yet...but i didnt like the 08 truck
at 1st either.

i use the c-betr's and then i aim my factory "small" mirror low and
wide enough that i can see the rear tires...makes it a lot easier when
im backing the truck or checking the curb edge to see how close it
is to my tire/wheel.

the c-betr mirrors are a huge improvement and they eliminate any blind
spots...that were there w/ the factory (only) mirrors
