relying on Wifi at RV parks or finding a "Hot Spot".. so I upgraded our Cell service (Verizon) to include Internet access via my cell phone for the Lap Top

Purdy slick stuff. 60 bucks a month, but you can sign up when/if you want it (no lengthy contract) shut it down (by phone call) when you don't need it. You only pay for the portion of the month you used it. Unlimited use time.

The only thing you need is.. a Cell Phone that is current enough to support the service and a PC/Lap Top current enough to download the drivers and install the software.

Slick :sweet:sweet

Sweet, been contemplating that route myself also.

Yep.. Right now we're in DC, The RV park has no WiFi, the closest "Spot" is the local Library.. about 4 miles away. BUT :dunno.... Here we are, in the Rig, on SDD and checking our emails with friends & family.

I'm a Happy Camper :)

yep I've had my setup with a separate card in my laptop (now a tablet) for at least a year. Connection speed isn't too bad, but should get better as time goes on :sweet

Just don't be typin' and driving like I sometimes do :D

Don't worry, I stop typing to shift :tounge

Seriously, its not all that often, I do some web browsing, while driving (check the weather and SDD) but my new tablet has a touch screen, so its more like a NAV unit (which I use it as also w/ GPS).

What brand of tablet did you get, Roy? I'm tempted but haven't pulled the trigger just yet.
