I have it on CD but have not yet down-loaded it to my iPod.

Did you read the whole series? many people think Father and I were Ranchers is the only book but there are 8 in the series. They are :

Father and I were Ranchers
Man of the Family
Marry Emma and Company
The Home Ranch
The Fields of Home
Shaking the Nickel Bush
The Dry Divide
Horse of a Different Color

All of them are great reading for all ages. Ralph Moody also wrote Come on, Seabiscuit which as you know was made into a movie a few years back.

It's been a loooooong time, but I did read most all of them. I got started with Father and I Were Ranchers and was hooked.
I have not read Come On, Seabiscuit. May have to check that out.
