Glow Plug Prices

Howdy All,
Stumbled across this somewhere else so maybe it is old news. Autozone has motorcraft glow plugs P/N ZD11 for 2.99 on line. I called the local store and they wanted 6.97 a piece.
The guy also told me it was a "Spark plug for a diesel"
I told them what was listed on the website and was told the price must be wrong. I placed an order from the website for 8 with standard Fed-Ex delivery for 32.19. Others have said they printed the website quote and took it to the store where they honored it.

Ive always figures a glow plug job to be around $80 for parts.

When I went to Autozone, they showed that I needed the ZD-9, which was at the higher price...I told them I wanted the ZD-11 at 2.99...

ZD-9's are for the IDI Turbo (also available in 1994). You have to tell the engine code is VIN "F" for a PSD. Cheers!

apparently autozone online or my local stores have any of the motorcraft plugs left. they stopped carrying them. if anyone recently purchased extra i would be glad to pay the shipping on them. please email [email protected]
