I replaced my OEM's at 4 years because the indicator light showed they were bad, and it was fall. They still worked fine, it was just peice of mind. I replaced them with the biggest Interstates I could get and then took them out less than i year later because they constantly leaked acid all over my truck and AFE intake. I replaced them with redtops 6 months ago with no problems as of yet. Truck is 2000 with 70K

My first thought was thay you should have warrantied them. We don't see that here in the Pacific Northwest but maybe the heat does it.

Warranty them with what, a prorated deal on another leaky battery? Fire1 lives in the same town as me and his leak just the same. I had a redtop already so I just bought another.
