I considered that also, but this was the simplest solution and I am not concerned that my two little holes are going to decrease frame integrity within the evelope that my truck performs. But who knows, it make break in half tomorrow.:D

I guess I am just an old fart but I have never liked drilling holes in the upper or lower part of a truck frame. Just don't seam right to me when you have 6 to 8 in of flat steel to drill into.
Just my 2 Cents.

That's what an old boss of mine said, he was a master machinist that worked on a Trident missile sub in the Navy. :dunno

Sure would be easy to do Fire1's way but I guess I can break out the welder and fab something up. I know I want it as high as I can get it.

Has anyone done an install writeup on this yet or is it pretty much a no brainer?

I will after I do mine.:sweet

BTW, Bob's install kit is almost worth it, I paid 16 bucks for fittings and hose just to route from OEM steel line on the frame. It's pretty straight forward.

Well I think I've got everything I need to install besides the bracket that I've got to fab up. Didn't make it to Scrap Processing. Can you guys think of anything that I left out of the pic? There are alreay hose clamps in place on the truck and wiring with fuse from an old extra fuel cell from previous owner so those are taken care of.

Does anyone think think my ugly connection for the vacuum gauge is going to interfere with readings? Block stock fittings that I could drill and tap were not available anywhere.:(
