Hey Dan;

The receiver holds my B&W adjustable ball hitch. I have two race cars and I transport them via a car trailer to some of the races, therefore I need the ball hitch. Here is one of them. ZZ3 engine, th700R4 trans, R200 diff., racing springs, shocks, fuel cell, roll cage, etc. etc. For road racing. 185 mph top speed.
Also a 1960 Falcon, 428SCJ with nitrous, 9" diff, C6 trans, etc., etc. 660 hp.
10.79 at 125 mph in the 1/4.
Both are street legal, but it is better to transport them for long distances.

I have enjoyed racing since I was 16. Used to race chariots..:D

I am a camper guy so here is my two cents ;) Mud flaps that are too low are worse than ones that are not low enough. I see rv's all the time with a big ole flap on the rear dragging the ground and it does nothing but kick up ten times more debris than the tires.

Take a long stick, pole or whatever you can find and stuff it under a rear tire then lift it up until it hits the bottom of the mudflap. This is the angle that the debris will go so you should make sure that the line the stick makes ends up under your trailer rather than on the front of it.

The best flap for trailer protection is a full width one mounted back near the bumper. The farther you get back with it the higher it can be and still offer trailer protection.

Looking good Maxtor :sweet

Thanks Bama; Crumm;

I am trying to get things ready for our cross country trip. I do not want to belabor the point, but it looks like my right hip is going to be to painful to go on the trip this year, so after the next surgery in Sept. I should be good to go in January, which would not be a good time to go cross country but it would be about the time for Quartzsite AZ big rv show. Then next April, here we come. I need to do as much as possible before the next surgery.
I just know if we went on the trip now, the pain would not allow me to enjoy the trip.

Soooo, I am rolling with the punches. "old time boxing phrase"

:D :D :D

Hey RedBadge6.0;

Yes, I plan on being at Cool April Nights and also at the drags. I will look you up.
There are many very beautiful cars and trucks shown there. We go every year, except when it rains. This weekend and all next week, they have many show and shines all over town, leading up to the Cool April Nights show.

Where is the Cool April Nights held at I have never heard of this event.
It is in Redding California. It is Reddings answer to Nevadas Hot August Nights.
Thousands of Cars. Lots of fun activities, including drags at the drag strip.
Bit of trivia, Redding drag strip is the longest running drag strip in Calif. I think it first opened in 1950 something.
