I've been playing with this plan also. A buddy of mine works for a drivline service shop so he can get the parts cheap and he and I would do the install after hours. But, my problem is I dont want to take the gearing to 4.56 because I get the best MPG when I stay away from the 2000 RPM range. Also I dont know if I'll run the 37's again when I replace these tires. I think I might go to the 4.11's just to "help" get closer to stock but not quite.

Well, by using the ratio formula you com up with 4:48-ish. You have to look at the closest available ratio. Your closest on the high side is the 4:56. Im pretty sure they dont make a 4:45 ring and pinion.

I have 4.56's in my truck and it was one the best mods I've done yet. It restored all of my low end torque and I gained back alot of "off the line" acceleration. The 4.56's in combination with my 38's put the rpms right where they were when my truck was stock. (265/75R16's with 3.73 gears)
