I can't give you any feedback on the ISPros, but if you purchase from one of the sponsors almost all of them great documentation for installation.
Check here and here for documentation and purchasing questions.:sweet

I have the Isspros. click link in my sig for my install. The match good and are very readable.

I got a bad pyro gauge or amp box from the begining. My vendor was Diesel Manor. They are great for customer service. RMA'd new unit to me pronto.

However, the replacements have been flaky. The pyro intermittently goes haywire. Not reploducable in any way. Works fine 95% of the time then hiccups. I think that my situation is unique because I have talked to a few other Isspro owners w/o any of my problems. The gauges either work or they don;t.

One of our forum members, Michael is one of the engineers at Isspro. He has been great to deal with. We have been working to figure out the problem. We are at the stage that they are sending me out a complete new pyro set- gauge, pyro, amp, interconnect cable. My old ones are gonna be CSI;d back ad Isspro HQ I think.

Bottom line, in this day and age of crappy customer service, Isspro has been stellar to make things right. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I have ISSpro Boost, Tranny and Pyro in the A-pilar. Have not had any problem with them in the 16 months that I have had them installed. Did the install myself with a complete kit supplied by DieselManor (gauges, A-pillar, pre-cut lengths of wire & all the sensors). http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=741
No matter what brand you go with, it is great to have gauges!

nakahama001,

You'll like them we sell Auto Meter and DIPricol too and the Isspro are the most popular. Best price and such too. Check our site we have the mounts, accessories like paints and all the gauges. Call us if you have any questions.

I picked up a set of ISSPRO gauges and upgraded the thermocoupler to the 2000 degree option versus the standard 1600 degree coupler. I've been accused of over engineering stuff before so I like to stay true to form, (g).

Anyway, the oddest thing occurred when trying to pickup a 3 pod pillar mount. The dealer was reluctant to sell me one saying that the grab handle in my 05 was "integral" to the design and shouldn't be removed, to which I replied that yea, I can see that grab handle saving my life if I rolled my truck.

Anyone else ever get that line? The dealer said he'd sell me one but preferred to get me a mirror pod. He had both items in stock so lack of stock or price (mirror pod was cheaper) didn't seem to be an issue.

Told him I'd sleep on it as I was already undecided on the mirror versus pillar mount.

Look at your driver's grab bar to see if there are two screw covers, about an inch in length. If there are, it will unscrew and come off just like the earlier ones.

I think the dealer needs a diaper change...

it's a bolt on for one, and you have to take it off to get the trim out anyway.

Whenever you punch holes in metal it generally gets weaker. That's why some police departments were getting away from the pillar mounted spotlight. In theory, in a crash, you could collapse that A post and crush the roof there. In reality, it's not that big a deal.

Get whichever one you like better!
