Gauge Question

I have a question in regards to gauges.

I would like to add some kind of monitoring to my truck. Whether it be an all-in-one, like the Edge Insight or Analog Gauges. My truck is stock other than a 4" exhaust. I've pretty much decided I don't need any programmers/chips.

So, is the Edge Insight good enough to keep me apprised of what's going on with my 6.0? Or do I need to go with some analog gauges? If I need the analog gauges, which ones?

I have an '03 F250 CC Lariat FX4 with 51k miles on it. Only issues so far with truck has been fuel gauge sending unit replaced, bed plate gasket replaced and alternator replaced along with 2 batteries all under warranty.

I think it all depends on what you like. I have di-pricol optix EGT, Boost, And Tranny Temp, with a painted pillar. I like the factory look of them plus how easy it is to read while driving. My $0.02.

The insight is a little harder to read the numbers than the attitude but still gives you alot of options of what sensors you want to read. You will have to buy a pyrometer probe ($80) to get EGT reading. So far mine works ok but really haven't had it that long. It does what edges web site says it does. Its up to you on the type, gauges or monitor. I've had both

as for me.. i've got auto meter sport comp II in my a-pillar just think it looks cooler:sweet haha love em and they look even better with the led upgrade let me know if ya need any help

I like these; I don't have a tuner so I don't have a boost gauge.
They come in 2, 3 and I think 4 gauge pods, ALREADY painted.
I did have to move my mirror down.

Thanks all for the responses.

@albran, I don't have a tuner either. But I want to monitor the boost on my turbo because they have been known to stick and the psi jump up to 40. I just want to catch it before it does too much damage. And I would like to keep track of my egt's.

Yea I probably should have gone with the 3 gauge pod. My justification for not was.
I don't check the factory boost gauge and it's supposed to be one of the/if not the most honest gauges on the truck :dunno.

And from research I found that people with my physical problem (HEAVY right foot :burnit) don't report as many turbo problems.
