So i have taken some of yalls advise and i got me a chip and I refuse to put it in and run it till my gauges are hooked up but I have one quick question? I bought a 3gauge pillar pod off of ebay and it is a matrix brand pod, does this thing mount over my original or do i remove it all together? If i remove the original how does the new one fasten to the truck?:dunno:dunno

On mine, the new one goes over the old one. you drill 4 holes, 2 to a side thru both old and new. You cut holes in the original where the pods are on the new one for wiring. You put the old one in first, pulling wiring as needed. You put the new on on, line up the holes and use plastic fasteners to clip 'em together.

Nice instruction sheet in the Diesel Manor website: DieselManor - Installation Sheets
