I am getting ready to do the fuel system wiki this weekend. and I will be damned if I can find any diesel rated fuel line. Do I need diesel rated or will regular fuel line work?

FINALLY FOUND SOME!!!

Had to call the local "big truck" repair shop and they have a whole roll on hand.

I just asked for fuel line that is good for diesel and the International dealer here in town finally had it. Normal parts stores (O'reillys, Napa, etc) didn't have it.

Everyone carries "30R7" which is the diesel standard,it usually runs a buck a foot at Auotzone and Napa auto parts,just a matter of the person punching in their stocking number

At least you got the hookup of some line from your friendly International parts dept there

Are you doing the regulated return? If so the lenghts are prolly different for your 6.0L. What type of hose ends and regulator are you using?


30R7 is rated for diesel, 30R9 is submersible in diesel and if you plan to run biodiesel in concentrations higher than B20 it's a good idea to use teflon or viton hose.

No...I wasn't doing the regulated return. I just did the harpoon the tank and fuel sending unit wiki.
