No, you cant turn up the fuel pump, its a volumetric unit that puts out "X" (we seem to be agreeing on 50 gpH) and that is actually FAR more than the engine can consume so thats why there is a return line to the tank, the excess unused fuel goes back.

Dont confuse the 10K mod (fools the ICP into thinking that HPO pressure is low) and the FPR shim which actually raises your fuel PRESSURE, so now your 50 gpH is @ 70-75 psi as opposed to being only at 30-40 psi. Its not uncommon for an unshimmed truck to have fuel pressure drop to 0 at WOT. Raising your fuel pressure will allow the injectors to fill faster or simply put, it insures that your injectors are completely full before the HPO opens into it and pushes the fuel into the engine.

ok, thanks for the info. The 10k mod can give you more power as it dumps more fuel into the motor correct?? And I understand that the shim just insures that there's enough pressure to supply the injectors. Will that give you more power too?? Thanks for all the help.

the 10K mod simply raises the oil pressure in the HOP circuit by fooling the ICP into believing that the pressure is low. So, with a higher HPO you get better atomization, not more fuel.

The only way you get more fuel into the engine is for the PCM to be programmed to do so via a chip or programmer, and at that you are still limited to what a stock set of injectors can deliver which is about 80-90 cc's per squirt.

Is the return fuel heated from traveling through the heads or is it returned before it enters the heads?
